Preview builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen asks you to confirm the first time you run the installer. Close the app before installing an update.

Browser version

The Sydal editor in a browser. Models open and save as files on each person's own computer, and the server only hands out the app. Ready-made hosting configurations are included for Azure Static Web Apps (Microsoft sign-in) and Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare Access).

Connectors, the AI assistant and code scanning stay desktop-only.

Before you start

Sydal connects read-only. Sign in with Entra ID, a service principal, key pair or CLI. Secrets are used once and never saved.
Connectors tagged Preview have been tested against sample responses. Run one import from each system you rely on before trusting the results.
After the trial, models still open and export. A Professional licence ($990 per user per year) unlocks editing. See pricing.
Start with one workspace you know well, such as a Databricks workspace plus the Power BI reports on top of it, so you can follow lineage end to end in your first session.
